Anthroposophic Medicine (AM) Resources--FYI
Anthroposophic medicine is a holistic, human-centered approach to medicine; it is practiced in addition--as an extension of, conventional medicine. This medicine originates from the work of Rudolf Steiner. His contributions also include biodynamic farming and Waldorf education, amongst many others.
Remedies are of the highest quality, biodynamically prepared, and usually potentized. In addition, this medicine encompasses many therapeutic modalities, not just remedies. How we think and move, our biographies, expressive therapies including art and music, the rhythms of our days--these are also treatments depending on the individual, and what is locally available.
Because I am no longer licensed as a prescriber, for more information, see this international site (IVAA); for physicians in the U.S., click here.
Anthroposophic medicine is more widely practiced in Europe, and can be found around the world. (See international resources) About 200 physicians practice in the U.S.; training and certification is available. Click here for U.S. information.
